SUMMARY:EU project IMPRESSIVE Final Conference
DESCRIPTION:Sustainable port management through Copernicus: the space-based IMPRESSIVE platform\nWould you like to know how a space-based platform could prevent marine pollution incidents? \nThe conference has the overall objective to promote and present the IMPRESSIVE solution\, an innovative platform with cutting-edge technology\, which could contribute to the sustainability of the ports in Europe. Participants will have the chance to learn more about the innovative platform and the story behind this marine initiative; join the debate inround tables with local and regional authorities\, port authorities\, industry\, other maritime initiatives; and join an open discussion between experts and audience on current and future needs in terms of maritime services that could be fostered\, implemented and integrated into the regional strategies. \nDuring the conference\, the GEO Blue Planet EU4OceanObs coordinator will participate in the roundtable discussion with other maritime projects and stakeholders including representatives from ESA and EMSA.
