Ocean Prediction & Observing System Design Workshop

Hybrid event: in-person with possibility of remote participation
Organised by Ocean Predict and the European-funded project EuroSea with support from the UK Met Office, this workshop will gather representatives from the global ocean observation and prediction communities to exchange on issues, progress and future outlook on ocean prediction and observing system design.
The workshop will cover four sessions:
- OSEs & OSSEs in support of observing system design
- Extreme marine events – observing, modelling, forecasting and user accessibility
- Coastal Ocean: Modelling, observing system design and product utility
- EuroSea & OceanPredict – support for the UN Ocean Decade
