At the UNESCO Integrated Ocean Carbon Research workshop in Brussels, international experts, researchers, and EU Commission policymakers gathered to drive an integrated approach to ocean carbon research that supports effective climate policies for a more sustainable future.
The second phase of the EU4OceanObs project (2023 – 2027) is funded under the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme through a contribution agreement between the European Research Executive Agency and Mercator Ocean International. The initial project (2021 to 2023) was funded through the Partnership Instrument managed by the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments and implemented by Mercator Ocean International.
